Frequently Asked Questions
How does The Den work?
The Den is a coffee shop in the front and a social lounge in the back. Anyone can come in and grab coffee, but in order to enjoy the lounge, you will need to check in at the front and sign a waiver for kiddos. We use the platform Wellness Living for all registration. Note that only legal guardians can sign the waiver, so if you plan to bring a friend, make sure their guardian signs the waiver. You can learn more about entry here!
Can someone just get a drink without entering the lounge space?
Absolutely. You are more than welcome to come in and get your drink/snack and hit the road. We also have cafe seating up front within the cafe which is free to use with food/drink purchase! Additionally, in the warmer months, we also have a patio with outdoor seating (and a water table for kiddos.)
What do I do at The Den?
We got options here, friend. You can come to something preprogrammed (Music Class, Curated to Grow, Mini Baby Bodywork, etc.) Or - you can come just to enjoy the space. People come to play with their kids, they come to get work down while their kiddos remain safely entertained, they come to meet a friend for coffee and actually have a conversation with their friend because The Den is designed for you to get to sit down, OR they come simply to get out of the house.
Do I have to be a parent to come?
No! This is a community space for good hearted people. A large part of our community is also made up of caretakers - from a group of nannies who meet up weekly, to grandparents tagging in. You are all welcome.
Is there parking?
We have a small parking lot in the back which we share with our neighbors. There is also a parking inset outside our space. Otherwise there is ample street parking. Don’t let it overwhelm you! We come in every day to work across various shift schedules, and we have never had issues ourselves!
